Questions or problems? Email [email protected] and tell us your device, the app version (Settings › About) and the kind of media source you use. Please don't send passwords.

Media sources

VisoHub plays media from your own servers and storage. Add them on iPhone and iPad in Settings › Media Sources, or on Apple TV in Settings › Media Servers and Settings › File Sources. Your sign-in details are stored in the device's Keychain and sent only to that server.

Emby

Choose Add Media Server and enter the server address (for example http://192.168.1.10:8096 or your HTTPS address), then your Emby user name and password. VisoHub plays the original files; no server transcoding is needed.

SMB

Choose Add NAS (SMB / NFS / WebDAV), network SMB, and enter the NAS name or IP address. Leave the user name empty to sign in as a guest, if your NAS allows it. After connecting, open a shared folder and choose All Files to add it, and tell VisoHub whether it holds movies or TV shows.

NFS

Choose network NFS and enter the server address. Enter the UID and GID your export expects (leave them empty for 0). The export must allow connections from your device's network.

WebDAV

Choose network WebDAV and enter the full address including https:// (for example https://dav.example.com). Without a scheme VisoHub uses http://, and servers that redirect HTTP to HTTPS then reject the sign-in.

Titles and artwork

VisoHub uses the NFO files and artwork next to your videos first (Local First); online metadata only fills in what's missing. You can switch to Online First in Settings › Identification & Metadata. Titles that couldn't be identified, or that may be duplicates, are listed in Settings › Needs Attention, where you can match them by hand.
